Details/Specifics of Change: The AIRS processing system is currently offline.  All AIRS products are currently unavailable.  Included in the AIRS processing suite was the converter which created the Aerosol Optical  Depth BUFR product from the MODIS MOD04_L2 HDF product. 

All viable alternatives for restoration are being investigated but there is currently no time estimate for completion.
