William Kilty was the Chief federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He was nominated by President Thomas Jefferson on January 6, 1802. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 26, 1802, and received commission that same day. He resigned on January 27, 1806.
