SOLD OUT
Member Nights at the Museum is hitting the road this month for a special off-site event at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History! We’re thrilled to host an exclusive screening of Walk Through the Valley, a four-part documentary film produced by Toby Tansil, who will join us in person to share insights about the project.
This powerful film traces the history of Detroit from its earliest days—beginning with Native American settlement and continuing through the city’s French, British, and American eras of occupation. Told through the voices of Detroit’s most respected historians, educators, authors, and political leaders, Walk Through the Valley offers a rich, deeply human perspective on the forces that shaped our city.
Guests will enjoy a champagne toast and lite bites as we gather for an evening of film, conversation, and community in one of Detroit’s most inspiring cultural spaces.
