CharterCam, Sailboat Cam, and Power Boat Cam are the only live streaming out-on-the-water boat webcams on the Great Lakes.  The CharterCam fishing charter boat runs in the Western Basin of Lake Erie during the main walleye fishing season, April through early August, typically the Ohio waters from West Sister Island to east of Kelleys Island and occasionally up in Canadian waters.  Mid-April through most of July the charter is out nearly ever day.  After that the number of weekly charters diminishes.  By August the boat may not be out for over a week at a time.  Through the rest of the season (mid / late October) the boat is only out occasionally.    Trips are usually run 6:00am to 2pm, but times may vary due to weather or other factors.  If the "camera is offline" message is in the viewing window (remains after several clicks to start it), the camera is offline due to a technical issue.  We will get it back online ASAP.  The video stream is not supported in all Internet browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer.  Crome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari browsers should work, as well as others.  You may need to click the stream more than once, or refresh the page, to get the live stream started.

Sailboat and Power Boat Cams are installed on our personal boats.  Sailboat cam is online daily whether the boat is out or not.  Power Boat Cam is online when the boat is out, typically on weekends, usually fishing or working on citizen scientist projects (deploying underwater cameras, scuba diving, doing sonar projects), or other activities.
