DETROIT – A cooler start this morning and overall we will be a bit cooler through the day in the wake of yesterday’s cold front. Temperatures will trend about 10 degrees below average this afternoon with highs in the upper 60s.
We remain seasonally cool for most of the weekend, although a gradual warming trend will begin Saturday taking us closer to average by Labor Day.
Aside from a few sprinkles over The Thumb today, mainly dry conditions are expected through Labor Day and into the middle of next week. We will have clouds mixing in today as well before clearing and giving way to plenty of sunshine the rest of the extended weekend.
Humidity remains rather low until earlier next week ahead of rain chances that return late Wednesday into Thursday.
