In honor of the final day of Welcome Home: Vietnam Veterans of America Detroit #9 join us for a conversation with Detroit legend Ike McKinnon. The former Deputy Mayor was also Police Chief and an officer in Detroit during the uprising in 1967. But many may not know he is also a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Air Force and was stationed in Danang Province, Vietnam in January 1965. 

The Detroit Historical Society is honored to welcome Ike back to the Detroit Historical Museum to share another one of his dramatic stories in a spectacular setting. Participation is free with museum admission.
