We must keep building momentum for action at COP30 in Brazil. We don’t have a moment to lose. No region is being spared from the ravages of accelerating climate catastrophes. At the same time, countries are waking up to a clear fact: Renewables are the economic opportunity of the century. Dissenters and fossil fuel interests may try to stand in the way. "We must support women’s organisations on the front line", declared the Secretary-General António Guterres in his message for International Women's Day. "And we must invest in programmes to end violence against women, and to drive women’s inclusion and leadership in economies, digital technologies, peacebuilding and climate action."
