Humanities Program

The Humanities program teaches students a better understanding of people's expressions, ideas and cultures. Humanities courses are designed to teach students various viewpoints regarding the human condition from different perspectives of disciplines including art, classics, history, languages, literature, music, philosophy, religious studies and theater.

Courses can be used to meet part of the Humanities/Arts and International Studies General Education requirement for an associate's degree, provide a foundation for students intending to transfer or to meet the needs of students planning to enter all career fields.

Humanities courses are offered in a range of formats including in-person, hybrid and online. For more information, complete the inquiry form or contact a humanities faculty member.
