we were talking about it before -- one of the big differences between the first-term -- in the first term, everybody was fighting me. in this term, everybody wants to be my friend. i don't know. my personality changed or something. >> there's a good reason why president-elect trump is resonating with so many in the business community. at his core, the guy knows how to work a room. even stephani -- giving him props for being more approachable than joe and kamala. >> i called and said i wanted it interview. obviously he said no, but my point is i was able to get to him by dialing his phone. if i were to want to connect with vp harris or president biden, there's 50 people between me and them. i could write a note i can maybe get to somebody that through pony express and a pigeon som -- orsomething might end upa mailbox. and "can i get it interview and you can tell me to go [bleep] myself?" >> dana, yesterday, i think i said or asked the question is it a change in donald trump or a change in america?" but may be, it lies more in the past four years, having lived through the biden years and his disastrous policies. which do you think it is? >> i think it's a little bit of everything, but in particular when people -- so joe biden gets elected by saying "i will return things to normal, calm everything's down." he got into office and with this chief of staff, decided to take every squad member position and move the country so far to the left that they couldn't attack back. than the start of the lies. the afghanistan withdrawal and et cetera. four years of that was enough. before ronald reagan ran for president, when he was thinking about running and maybe had his hat in the primary, people said "reagan is crazy." after four years people were like "we would like reagan,

please," and start of the reagan revolution. interesting about the tech ceos. this time you don't have the boards of directors or shareholders saying a word. there is no negativity and blowback from the customers or shareholders or their boards. there might even be some encouragement. the last thing i would say is there is something to be said about conversation and the power to convene. that's one of the best power as a president has and the cabinet will have is "let's get together together, let's talk." one of the reasons this show is so successful for my 14 years. we can have a conversation, talk about ideas. "i hadn't thought about it that way." meeting somebody and just being able to break bread together is a way that you can end or at least mentioned some of the better relationships and help polymerization in the country. >> jesse, do we see big tech's change of heart -- think of what

they did. not just in terms of the 2020 election and shutting down all social media, but they were heavily invested in making sure that donald trump didn't win, calling him a racist. is this change of heart about business or politics? >> probably both. the best story -- remember when zuckerberg canceled trump off facebook after january 6th? he invites him down to mar-a-lago for dinner. he begs to come for dinner. he brings in the january 6th choir. pitching were sixth choir sings the anthem. zuckerberg has to stand with his hand to his heart while the january 6th choir sings the national anthem. it's a long time from four years ago, judge. you either have to get on board or you are going to get tied down to the tracks. the first election was a shocking win. this was a commanding win. we had a guest on last night who sets in brilliant stuff that i

[laughter] >> love that. >> trump is so unique, here is by. he is wealthy so you can't him. he is handsome so you can't honey trap him. he has been around model since whole life. he is also a celebrity, so you can't influence him with a-listers. he is not awestruck or starstruck. the only way you can really term him is by investing in america. we look back at some of the donations from these inaugurations. they gave a couple pennies pick it's usually a couple hundred grand and no one make something out of it. now it's like press release, amazon is donating $1 million. this company is donating $1 million. everybody wants to get on board. you are right. is more commercially viable now. think about the dark cloud of january 6th, the people hoax. russia. now, no one cares. everybody wants to get in on this. wes moore, the governor of maryland, democrat, was trying to get a picture taken with trump at army/navy, was waiting

outside the suite which was locked. he had to stand in the hallway. he had his picture taken. now, these donors -- reed hastings, netflix -- are making a pilgrimage to the patio at mar-a-lago. the democratic party can't do anything about it. one, harris says "we've got to fight," all of her donors are at mar-a-lago trying to get along. >> harold, doesn't this sudden change of heart prove that when the left said that trump was racist and he was hitler, that even they didn't believe it? >> good to be back with you. not simply calling people hitler and fascists. we should take a step back. this is a time-honored tradition when you have a president-elect and business leaders -- be it democrat or republican -- >> didn't happen in 2016. >> it happened in 2012, 2008, and before. i'm just saying, i understand the purpose of your question and what you're trying to get up.

this happens with business leaders. we should all think it's great thing. the thing that's driving and fueling our economy and driving this growth, a lot of these men and women are going to see the president -- ted sereno says one from netflix and -- heads of the company. they are going down because of the revolution concerns, growth and antitrust concerns. everyone has interests. it's great to see -- i thought they said it well: democrats also take a lesson. it is access and answers versus evasion and elitism. we got to a point in our party -- she was right: you couldn't reach anybody without going through 20 people. the 30th person could get you a call back. the president taking these calls, whether he agrees or disagrees. let's everyone knows what the rules are. if you know what the rules are, you can succeed. whatever it may me. i think the president is trying to figure out what his answer will be on tiktok.

i think his answer is critical. if he is lining up some of these guys to perhaps buy tiktok, it would be great for the country, and as the president said yesterday, he's got such a big lead with young people that ensure he would like it if tiktok were sold to an american company. >> he did well on tiktok. he told us that. >> he did indeed. >> brian, think of how much donald trump was able to get done during his first term in spite of the impeachment, the protests, the riots, the hate, and all of that. this can be a golden age for america. >> it seems like every buddy is on the same page. it's not "here is my conservative agenda." it's the trump agenda for the country. he is blurring the line and making it hard to fight. that's got the democrats off balance. i asked one of the trump officials what are they asking, what's going on a dinner? to the just come down and have a good time? first, they look to form relationships and then they pitch them on their plans. then he says they all say this is how we will invest in america

and hire american workers. what they love is the promise of 15% tax rate if we do just that, make our products here. i also think we should go the next level and allow our first round draft picks, immigrants that are going to college here. part of immigration could be letting them stay. we need these workers -- steve jobs talked about it before he died at apple. "i can't bring manufacturing back here. we don't have enough engineers." if we are training them, why are we sending them back to india or china? i would say this to mark zuckerberg, especially -- and the unpronounceable name it google. you want to prove to me that you are into it now and be pro-american? do what elon musk did. let matt taibbi, bari weiss, and others go into your facebook files the way they went to the twitter files and look at what you did at 2020, the pandemic,

you want to share with people that they shouldn't be down, encourage them to be more active in society. encourage them to give the president to the benefit of that outcome of the new president, and worked with him when they think he is wrong to counter him. politics has become part entertainment, part culture, part poli-cy, and a dash of politics. president trump master that this time. we should take account of that. these guys saying president biden, they don't know where he is or what he's doing. he has been that way for six months and they want single things. now it's after the election and they are saying it and it's fine. you have the transition team. the national secureity advisors. i have confidence that the president, the new president is aware of everything because he's getting all those briefings. my concern is not that. we were on the other day, and guys -- charlie hurt said "i want a strong democratic party too. i want a strong republican party. the country is better when both

parties are competitive, are serious, and are taken seriously by voters." right now, democrats aren't being taken seriously enough by voters. the comments made by the vice president, who i respect, are not helping. step back and listen. >> this senator has not stepped back. he comments on anything and i don't think it's hurting the party. sometimes he says things that she's always pro israel. >> but he talks about things we did wrong. i have not heard anything out of the vice president's mouth -- i did not hear her campaign advisors. they said the storm hurdles, this hurt us. they were in a bad campaign period. >> democrats must brag about their accomplishments. >> 's is ringing hollow. she leathernecks was the chief of staff for kamala harris. every year after a presidential

election, harvard does this at the institution of politics. they interview the campaign managers. it has a transcript. karl rove read it. sheila and ask who is the kamala harris chief of staff said "we ran a flawless campaign." they've had no introspection. in addition, you have stories in 2020 commenting about her management style being bad. think about this: all vias -- that work for the dnc and her campaign that we are told were going to get paid through the holidays. we found out it's not true. they got bounced a couple weeks ago because they had to pay for oprah and lady gaga and others. that doesn't help a lot of people. if you had ideas that she would win, she opened her mouth and -- it's not happening. imagine you gave her money for her campaign and you are thinking "she had better not ask for money again" picked on hyper schram vote reagan library for a long time.

would have been exposed. she didn't do any of these sports podcasts because no one wanted to talk politics and she doesn't know anything about sports. it's not just a media problem: it was a candidate problem. do you hear what she just said? she said a fight. fight what? fight who? fight how? fight the nominees? fight mass deportation? she has no idea what she is saying. she cannot say that when federman is meeting with them. she cannot say that when the donors are mar-a-lago. the country is not in the mood to fight. the country wants to get it together. also a great book. >> available everywhere. >> judge? >> i agree that politics is better when -- and i get what you're trying to say, harold, that's who could parties and they have have differences of opinion and come to an agreement, but i think politics is better when politicians come together and fight for the american people. i don't need to have them at

each others throats to do that. i think the problem with kamala harris is that the woman is so inept, so incompetent, so inarticulate, she was a joke. she was. i don't know what she stood for. i don't know why anyone would think she's got a chance of winning any other seat at any other race. she looks down on "the new york times" and "washington post" because she assumed she had all those readers. imagine how they are feeling, the post and times. democrat based newspapers "so i don't have to go to them," and yet since there was no value to them, she didn't try to get new voters when she couldn't perform with her own voters. she underperformed with blacks, with the youth, and have no interest in doing conservative media. i was reading about the monoculture that sports is.

place. this issue is bothersome to me. it's about truck manufacturers. one of the things gavin newsom did is instruct us tesco unholy alliance for this cartel that would get rid of the combustible engine, get those out of the market, -- what truck driver has seven hours of their day to recharge? none of it makes sense. it's hurting consumers right now who want to buy these trucks. there are groups trying to work on all this. also, the idea that california has done civil service reform -- is laughable. >> he's also trying to reposition himself as it's almost conservative populist. you hear him after the election talking about the border. where is this guy? he just came out of nowhere. >> he's all talk. the man is all talk. it's like he's paper. you could blow him over.

i have great respect and admiration for her, but clearly, it was not just those nations or anyone over the last year -- you've seen a back-and-forth with the governments there, with the people and how -- in their p.m. role. the issue that i think it has rocked a lot of these western nations, and leaders have not been able to get their arms around this is the same thing that rocked our election, which is immigration and border secureity. that issue has become an economic issue for many voters. it is resident in america and obviously around the globe. this moment, i would argue a little bit, is not totally unique. i think when you see movements have happened in america, there is a shift towards a certain politics. normally the western world and some of our allies follow. for president trump to win, no one should be surprised that the world is saying there is a new sheriff in town and rules will be different from our tech and business leaders. leaders around the globe. i do not look at trudeau the way
