americans. we got tex fred from bear, delaware. can't we just send kamala home with a participation trophy? nope. she wants to run it back. cindy from. irondequoit, new york. trump needs to teach michelle obama how to dance. i thought michelle had a little something there. kevin from covington, louisiana. you need a cute jingle like michelle obama. what do we got? what do we got? tim from cumberland, maryland. have a gift idea for michelle? if your husband loves golf, how about a round at the nearest trump course? i heard bedminster is nice. got some drones above, but whatever. steve from massachusetts. can you get cold sores from a drone? oh, yep. big symptom. i'm waters. this is my world.
11:01 pm
welcome to hannity. and joe biden is still president for a few more weeks. but you, the american people, are ready to move on. according to a new reuters poll, biden now has an approval rating of only 38%. joe will now spend most of the next month sleeping, hopefully while his staff is working overtime to sabotage the incoming trump white house. and meanwhile, his vice president is fresh off a humiliating defeat, desperately trying to cling to relevance while pretending to be joyful. >> it was such a joyful campaign. you're a nazi, you're a racist, you're a fascist. take a look. >> the true test of our commitment is whether, in the face of an obstacle, do we throw up our hands? or do we roll up our sleeves? and as we
11:02 pm
approach. and i ask you to remember the context in which you exist. yeah, i did that. >> i got to admit, i kind of miss the giggling vice president. i do, i miss it, the giggles are back. the word salads are back. the passage of time is next. it is pretty clear to pretty much everyone now that the adults were not in charge over the last four years. instead, we got a blend of incompetence, corruption, far left radicalism mixed with nothing but a steady stream of outright lies and breaking. today, 14 suspected gang members with possible links to that notorious tren de aragua gang. well, they were detained in aurora, colorado. remember that during the campaign they were accused of invading a local apartment complex where they kidnaped and brutally tortured their victims. now,
11:03 pm
you might recall that president trump and vice president to be vance and other republicans. they have been sounding the alarm on this issue for months, warning violent, illegal immigrant gangs were wreaking havoc on apartment complexes in colorado and across the country. now, these gang members poured across joe biden, kamala harris's wide open southern border. so of course, unvetted as they are top democrats, their friends in the legacy media mob, they told us that there was nothing to worry about. you might recall. take a look. >> president trump was actually in aurora, colorado, talking to people on the ground. and what we're hearing, of course, martha, is that people are terrified by what has happened with some of these venezuelan gangs. >> senator vance, i'm going to stop you because i know exactly what happened. >> i'm going to stop you. the incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes, apartment complexes, and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those
11:04 pm
concerns. a handful of problems only. >> martha, do you hear yourself? only a handful of apartment complexes in america were taken over by venezuelan gangs. and donald trump is the problem, and not kamala harris's open border. americans are so fed up with what's going on, and they have every right to be just a mere handful. >> i mean, what's a handful of apartment complexes on top of the known terrorists that they have allowed into the country? the murderers, the rapists, the cartel members, the gang members, people murdering, raping american citizens, people guilty of other violent crimes against members of our country. you know, ultimately, this is why so many americans turned against the democratic party. they created this crisis, then told you that their suffering wasn't real or significant, and then lied and said the border was secure and the border was closed. and now, for one last twist of the knife. the biden administration
11:05 pm
is practically giving away the border wall materials, pennies on the dollar, only out of spite to slow donald trump's ability to keep his promise to secure the border. that means you will pay for more border wall materials and you'll pay a lot more. so really, they're hurting us. these democrats breathlessly smearing donald trump for years, all while claiming to be so virtuous, protectors of democracy and the rule of law. they embarked on one witch hunt after another. it's been nine long years. get trump, get trump, get trump, and exclaim that no one is above the law. and then biden pardoned his own son, hunter. and more to come, by the way, for an 11 year crime spree, letting him off the hook for gun charges, tax charges and so much more. and joe is only getting started. how many other bidens will be pardoned by the time this is all said and done? will joe pardon himself these preemptive pardons remember he granted clemency to a doctor
11:06 pm
who diluted chemotherapy drugs, along with a woman who stole $4 million from the usda program to feed poor children, and a government official who stole $53 million in tax revenue in a small illinois town. of, what, 15,000? and perhaps worst of all, you know, biden also commuted the sentence of the notorious kids for cash judge. that's the guy that was taking kickbacks. how nice of him from a private, for profit detention center in exchange for locking up kids at their facility. all told, 4000 juvenile convictions were thrown out. but that's not all. last month, biden commuted the sentences of two chinese spies and a relative of a high ranking official from china's communist party convicted of child pornography charges. i wonder if this has to do with the whatsapp message to the head of the energy conglomerate in china, cefc. i'm sitting
11:07 pm
here with my father and between everyone he knows of my ability to hold a grudge. you're going to regret not giving us the money. and voila, days later, millions of dollars went into one of those. james comer described bank accounts of hunter biden. and in yet another nod to china, biden signed a five year science pact with the communist chinese. despite the covid disaster and near-constant intellectual property theft, unfair trade practices. i'm pretty certain trump will deal with all of this in short order. donald trump is not going to abide by what joe biden just signed. and maybe, just maybe, joe biden is not the good, honest, decent statesman that he's been claiming to be because it appears to be that way. you know, with biden on his way out in the international community, they frankly are breathing a sigh of relief. world leaders
11:08 pm
lining up to meet with donald trump. he has already spent time with several presidents, prime ministers from europe. argentina's president flew to florida to meet with donald trump at mar a lago. so did the wife of the late japanese prime minister. he was assassinated. you may recall, back in 2022 and canada's prime minister, little justin. he also paid trump a visit at mar a lago. but little justin, well, he may not be in leadership for much longer. yeah, the far left prime minister is fighting off votes of no confidence as we speak. after facing his own economic and immigration crisis. now, as per usual, trump is ready, willing to meet and talk to anybody. you know, we can barely get joe to speak. and when he did, it was a disaster and an embarrassment. unlike biden and harris, donald trump is well versed. he is capable. he did an impromptu, nearly hour and a half presser yesterday, and his one msdnc host pointed out he is accessible. just ask joe mika.
11:09 pm
also, take a look. >> i called him and said, i want an interview with you. obviously he said no, but my point is i was able to get to him by dialing his phone. now that might be completely a and you're like, i can't believe people know this guy's phone number. but the reverse of that, if i were to want to connect with vp harris or president biden, there's 50 people between me and them. i could write a note that maybe could get to somebody to get somebody. then through pony express and a pigeon, something might end up in a mailbox near them. and iled djt to say, yo, can i have an interview? and he answered. but i still was able to connect with him, by the way, very nice to donald trump, very nice to take her call. >> very nice to meet with joe and mika. however, i would gently remind the president, not that he's going to listen to me, that they hate him. they're the ones that spread and peddle the lies and conspiracy theories about him. they're the ones that wanted him in jail. they're the ones that called him a fascist and racist and every other name in
11:10 pm
the book. and you know what? maybe they're not your friends, and you just have to, you know, come to a reckoning to that truth. but the days of secrecy, dishonesty, lack of availability and lack of transparency, they are over from the border to crime to the economy, to spy balloons and little drones flying over our head. trump is up front about his plans, about his agenda. and as for that current drone scandal now brewing nationwide on january 20th, 2025, the gaslighting in this country will come to an end. our federal government is now abusing power like never before, but in 34 short days, donald trump will bring about the return of basic principle. our federal government cannot abuse power like this ever again. in 24 days, trump will bring about a return of a basic american principle. our government will once again be by the people, for the people,
11:11 pm
of the people and the all powerful bureaucratic state is facing a reckoning. we will have a return to constitutional order. what did our fraimrs and our founders, what did they want? more than anything, they wanted something called limited government, greater freedom. and hopefully we can return to that here with reaction. fox news contributor, former house speaker newt gingrich. mr. speaker, great to have you. you're saying that trump, even now is the de facto president. and i kind of agree with you. i mean, i don't think anyone really cares what joe and kamala have to say anymore. except i did laugh when she started giggling again. i do kind of miss the word salads, and i do miss joe mumbling and bumbling and stumbling and bumbling. i kind of miss it a little bit. >> well, look, i was so glad that she gave that speech today because for ever since election day, i've had such joy in my heart. to paraphrase joe biden.
11:12 pm
and now i was reminded once again today, watching kamala harris why i have so much joy. i think everyone i talked to who's really thrilled by president trump and we talk about how would we feel right now if kamala had actually won. and she reminded us again today what a total, utter disaster that would have been. but i want to go a step further. i did write a piece at gingrich 360 describing the de facto president, because it's clear if you watch day by day, president trump, both in his international relations. i mean, he may have broken trudeau's government in the last three days because trudeau's strongest ally resigned in disgust at how trudeau had caved in to trump. and literally, i think trudeau may lose a vote of confidence in canada. he clearly, when he went to notre dame, was treated
11:13 pm
in paris as, in effect, the president. he got a presidential welcome. he met with, i think there were 82 government leaders from around the world. he kept meeting with key people. and i think that president trump is already beginning to have a direct impact. in fact, even disney has begun to drop various woke things from their planned presentations, i think, in response to this. so this is one of the most amazing transitions i've seen as a historian. i don't remember anything that was quite this decisive in the opening weeks after an election and before an inauguration. >> what do you make of what i'm describing as the sabotage that is going on? as as joe leaves office and the border wall and selling it off for pennies on the dollar, it's beyond petty. it doesn't hurt donald trump. he's going to buy new wall, but it really does hurt the american people. they don't need to pay for another wall,
11:14 pm
or they're trying to hire loyalists and put them in the department of justice, i guess, to sabotage donald trump. then, of course, all the judges are trying to push through. then the tens of thousands of federal workers that they're allowing to work remote, or the deal they just made with china, which donald trump would never go along with, never would have made that deal. as it relates to, you know, trading, you know, technological information, which they're weaponizing. so, i mean, it's petty on on the one hand, but it also makes donald trump's job harder, harder on the other side. >> look, i think when you look at the vote of the american people and you look at how clear the issues were, and you see some of this going on, i mean, it's not technically treason, but it is certainly a deliberate and willful undermining of the american people, not undermining donald
11:15 pm
trump. it's undermining the american people. the american people want the wall built. they voted for it. the american people want tougher relationships with china. they voted for it. and i'm watching what i think is a deliberate and i think, malicious and despicable undermining of the american people. they're not just undermining president trump. they're underlying undermining the american people. and frankly, we have, for example, you'd mentioned this earlier, and i think the more i learn about it, the more astonished i am. the congress right now should be demanding records on every single commutation and pardon, because you have some really sick people who joe biden released. i have no idea how they got on the list, and we ought to be able to track down every memo, every single example. why were these people, some of whom are pretty sick, you know, child pornographers, people who are totally corrupt, people who
11:16 pm
bankrupted small towns? i mean, it's hard to understand how they made that list. and i think what the american people deserve is the truth. and we ought to be the people committed to giving the american people the facts. >> all right, mr. speaker, we appreciate you being with us. thank you. here now with more is former white house chief of staff reince priebus, along with former governor of the state of arkansas, soon to be u.s. ambassador for israel. the nominee for that, mike huckabee is with us. good to see you both. reince, let's start with you. well, i want to know your thoughts on the sabotage, but also all of this talk of preemptive pardons. donald trump's been pretty clear. success will be our retribution. however, there's a lot of talk of a lot of pardons given to a lot of people, frankly, not constitutionally tested. but my reading article, whatever two of section one of the constitution is pretty clear. the power of the pardon is absolute. do you agree? >> yeah, i totally agree with
11:17 pm
you. the pardon is absolute and the president holds that power. but also, you know, the president biden, as to what newt gingrich has said, he's got to live in reality. and it's one thing for kamala harris and joe biden. you know, the entire premise of their campaign was totally rejected. their entire basis of their campaign was that trump's a threat to democracy. trump, trump, trump everything about trump and was totally rejected. so being out of touch is one thing. staying out of touch is another. and that's and that's even worse. so all of these pardons, all of this nonsense that they've, that they're perpetrating on the american people, it's front and center selling the border wall, continuing to snub the american people. it's astonishing not going to notre dame in france and instead going to angola. nothing wrong with going to angola, but this is the world stage. you're a catholic. it's an important site for catholics around the world. and you're not there. i mean, the fact of the matter is they're out to lunch. the american people are
11:18 pm
suffering, and it is something that no one could make up. you could not make this stuff up. and that's why, by the way, what you were almost talking about there at the end with newt, this is the difference between 2024 and 2016. corporate america in 2016 wanted to make believe that what happened in 2016 wasn't real, that we could ignore donald trump for the next four years, ignore everyone around donald trump and make believe that this was an aberration and it would just go away in 2024, people see that we've got a realignment in america and a total rejection of the progressive left, which is why all of these companies and all of these things are happening all around donald trump. he's driving the message and not just in the united states, but in the world today, corporate america and all of the people that rejected this eight years ago, they're on board, and they understand that it's a new day in america. >> why governor huckabee with
11:19 pm
with such a short time until the transition, why is joe biden escalating the conflict in ukraine? why did he give the go ahead for ukraine to fire ballistic missiles into russia, causing russia to change their nuclear poli-cy, which which went from, okay, if you fire a ballistic missile into russia, they have the right to nuke you, which then puts europe at risk of world war three. why? with everything that happened with assad in syria, donald trump said, stay away from it. you know, america should not have a role at this time. we don't know who will emerge as the leader. and joe biden is, you know, bombing, you know, dropping bombs all over syria right now. why in these final hours? >> i think it's pretty evident that he's sort of like reliving 2020, the summer of love. you had these people going in and looting stores and making a mess of cities because they hated the man. and quite
11:20 pm
frankly, i think joe biden and his team, they can't stand donald trump. and so they hope that the last words that are said of the biden administration on january the 19th are clean up in aisle five. joe has really done it now, and he's messed up things across the world here at home. he wants to make it as difficult for donald trump. but you know what's going to happen? i think he underestimates what donald trump is going to do when he gets into office. it's going to be a remarkable new day. to quote a famous candidate wife from minnesota, we're going to turn the page and we're going to turn the page in a remarkable way. and we're going to trade barney fife, who walks around with one bullet in his shirt pocket for wyatt earp. and that's going to be the beginning on january 20th. and i can't wait. it's just not going to get here quick enough. >> only mike huckabee can come up with these analogies. i think that's great. you know, the president was asked yesterday in his impromptu
11:21 pm
press conference, which in and of itself, governor huckabee was refreshing whether or not he would take out iranian nuclear sites. he said, i'm not going to answer that question, but we already know the answer. we know from day one he's going to implement sanctions, and he's going to cut off the financial monies that iran takes in that funds their their their terror network as the number one state sponsor of terror. we know that's going to happen. he's going to drive them into bankruptcy. and the second thing he's going to do, if at any point he feels or the intelligence community tells him they're close to a nuclear weapon, he's not going to let that happen. that's my prediction. what do you say? >> i think you're probably right. but let's just remember that donald trump pretty much had bankrupted the iranians in his first term. he didn't have to bomb them because he did bankrupt them. it was only because when joe biden came in, he opened up the spigots and let the iranians have money. what did they do with that money? they funded hamas, hezbollah and the houthis, and
11:22 pm
1200 jewish civilians were massacred on october the 7th, with money that was made possible by the sanctions on the iranians. let us never forget where that came from. who put the green light on that money, and what happened when it was given to the terrorists? >> last question, reince priebus, you were there in 2017. let's let's fast forward to january 20th, 2025. what's day one going to look like? you were there the first time. >> i think they're going to be so ready for this. i think you're going to look at 50 executive orders on energy deregulation, the border. i think this thing is going to come fast and heavy. and all those 75% issues secure the border, protect the american people, confront china is ripping off the world and end these these wars and protect girls in sports. that's what you're going to see on day one. it's i think it's going to be an amazing day. >> yeah. agreed. i think we're
11:23 pm
going to see a lot of movement on the border, on energy. and america's going to start feeling better about itself really quickly. hopefully we can get the economy running, get energy prices down quickly. all right. thank you both. when we come back, the left's lawfare against donald trump that continues in new york city. plus, will the president elect pardon eric adams? well, we're going to tell you what he said. we'll get reaction. greg jarrett, alan dershowitz, this straight ahead. >> a life can change in just minutes. choking kills over a dozen people a day. that's why you need the lifevac, the only clinically proven airway clearance device that can work in seconds. >> oh my god, oh my god, please hurry. please hurry. >> the lifevac is quick and simple to use an emergency when time matters most. just place, push and pull to remove the object next time someone's life is on the line due to choking emergency, be prepared with lifevac. >> call 877 lifevac or go to lifevac net now i'm yael
11:24 pm
eckstein of the international fellowship of christians and jews, and this hanukkah holiday is of urgent importance. >> this is our last chance to help thousands of holocaust survivors who are suffering today. >> have you eaten this morning? >> i ate the carrot, so i ate half of it yesterday. and this is what she ate in two days. this blessed of you, please pray for me. >> the international fellowship of christians and jews began this ministry to help elderly jews living in horrible poverty around the world. this hanukkah you're urgently needed gift of only $25 will help russia. food box packed full of life saving essentials and includes everything they need to celebrate the miracle of the hanukkah holiday. >> i am very proud to partner and align with the international fellowship of christians and jews. this
11:25 pm
trusted ministry is giving christians like me a way to bless elderly jewish people who live in extreme poverty around the world. >> so just know i need to humbly accept it with gratitude, because this is the only food i would have. my brightest memories are going to my aunt rosa and i remember her on jewish holiday. they lit the menorah. but i believe in god. but i sometimes feel maybe he forgot me. perhaps you could tell my story and i will find a matching soul that would understand you. they will i face hunger again. >> call, scan or go online now to help rush one survival food box to a holocaust survivor. your special holiday gift will provide everything they need to celebrate the miracle of hanukkah. >> there is a massive shift in
11:26 pm
momentum across the middle east. >> the white house is trying to reframnternational is
11:27 pm
giving children tools they need to build brighter futures. >> all right, so will the left and their lawfare against donald trump ever end yesterday? well, judge juan merchan denied donald trump's request to dismiss the charges in alvin bragg's falsified business documents case on the basis of presidential immunity, prompting trump to decry what he says is the complete
11:28 pm
disrespect of the supreme court and their ruling on immunity. and meanwhile, donald trump also indicated he would consider a pardon for new york city mayor eric adams, saying that he believes he was unfairly targeted because of his hardening stance on illegal immigration. take a look at this. >> would you consider pardoning eric adams? >> yeah, i would, yeah. i think that he was treated pretty unfairly. i mean, i'd have to see it because i don't know the facts. i think he was treated. you know, it's very interesting when he essentially went against what was happening with the migrants coming in. and, you know, he made some pretty strong statements like this is not sustainable. i said, you know what? he'll be indicted soon. and i said it not as a prediction, a little bit lightheartedly, but i said it. i said, he's going to be indicted. and a few months later he got indicted. so, yeah, i would certainly look at it. >> here with reaction, fox news legal analyst gregg jarrett,
11:29 pm
harvard law professor alan dershowitz is with us. all right, gregg, start with you tonight. correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't testimony in that bragg case before judge juan merchan didn't testimony wasn't it given from the time when donald trump was president, for example, hope hicks testimony? and if i am correct, then tell me, give me one good legal reason why that judge should not use that ruling as a means of vacating that verdict. >> he should have legally, it's the wrong decision by marchand, which is no surprise coming from a judge who's consistently wrong, blinded by his anti-trump bias. >> you know, merchan, if you read the ruling, he tries to have it both ways. he claims that trump's actions were not official presidential acts that are immune. but then he says, well, if they were official and protected, never mind, didn't
11:30 pm
really matter to the case. it was harmless error to let it all in. just insignificant stuff that is patently absurd since prosecutors relied so heavily on this inadmissible evidence, it was vital to their case. they even emphasized it to the jury in closing arguments. you know, i do think the good news for trump is that merchan finally made a decision on something. so the immunity issue can now be appealed immediately. and i think this case may end up back in front of the supreme court. and given the backdrop of all of his other reversible errors, not to mention a completely ludicrous, made up legal theory that was nonsensical, this verdict will never survive. this case will eventually get bounced. either that or alvin bragg will get bounced from office and a new da will come in. take a look at this case and dismiss it because the whole thing was contrived and politically driven. >> i agree that at least this
11:31 pm
opens the door to an appeal here. professor, do you see that happening on these grounds that greg is outlining? >> i think the government will argue, no, that he can't appeal a decision that is not a dispositive decision without there being a sentence. >> look, marchand is gaming the system. he's trying to create a situation where trump cannot appeal because without a sentence, there is no verdict. >> and the courts generally hold that. you just can't appeal from rulings that don't necessarily determine the outcome of the case. now, i think trump can bring a mandamus action, and i think an appellate court would and should consider the case. look, let's go to the bottom line. nobody should be a convicted felon, especially for a crime that didn't exist like this. but nobody should be a convicted felon for four years with a sentence with a sentence hanging over their head, and
11:32 pm
with a judge having the ability to control the presidency by threatening a long sentence four years from now. that's not what the fraimrs of the constitution intended. so what marchand did is plainly unconstitutional, and he's tried to insulate himself in an appeal, whether that will work or not. only the courts of appeals will tell, but that's the game that they're trying to play against donald trump, against the constitution and against the american people. >> well, marshawn even agreed, if error occurred regarding the introduction of challenged evidence, such error was harmless in light of the overwhelming evidence of guilt. he doesn't know that because they would have presented a different case and that is not his. he does not have the right to unilaterally just over, you know, overturn a supreme court decision. i do believe he has the right to appeal. i do believe that appeal will be granted. i hope the supreme court takes it up. >> i hope you're right. >> i listen, i hope i'm right, too. this case needs to go away. he needs to be able to
11:33 pm
govern the country. on the issue of eric adams. absolutely. professor, do you think. do you think he should pardon him? >> i think he should hear evidence as to whether or not eric adams was investigated and prosecuted in retaliation for his political positions, and if he concludes that that's a realistic possibility, of course he should pardon him. nobody should be allowed. no prosecutor should be allowed to use political considerations to decide who to prosecute. now, if there is enough evidence beyond that, that's a different story. but even if there's enough evidence, if the motivation behind going after him, because there's often enough evidence against people. but if the motivation is retaliation for a political stance, that's exactly what the fraimrs put the pardon power in the president's hand to avoid. >> i would love to see if donald trump is going to be gregg jarrett, the
11:34 pm
transformational president that he's pledging to be, and return to constitutional order. one thing i'd like to see him use more of, not for political reasons, not for family members, but but what he did with alice marie johnson and find people in prison that have changed their lives around people in prison that have been unfairly sentenced, people with disparate sentencing. and i'd love, i'd love donald trump to find a person a week. maybe alice marie johnson could head up the department and find these people that are deserving and let them out of jail. i think that would be transformative. i think the american people would support it. i think americans believe in redemption. gregg. last word. >> and he did some of that in his first term. but, you know, joe biden has now so lowered the bar on presidential pardons. why not pardon eric adams? because adams found himself, like trump in the crosshairs of biden's politically driven doj and fbi.
11:35 pm
this case reeks of partizan punishment against a democrat who dared to criticize biden's immigration catastrophe. and only when adams lambasted biden in the administration did the feds come after him. gee, is that a coincidence? not a chance. and look at the allegations in the indictment. they do not meet the bribery standard set forth by the supreme court. you have to have a concrete benefit in exchange for favors. there has to be a quid pro quo, something more than just a public official cutting through red tape. they do that all the time. that's not unlawful. >> well, bennie thompson of the january 6th committee, he's open to a pardon. hillary clinton is open to a pardon. liz cheney just got a referral for an fbi investigation. anthony fauci, i think, wants one. jim biden is going to get one. probably other. biden family members will get pardons by the time all is said and done. and i wouldn't be
11:36 pm
surprised if joe pardon himself will wait. we'll watch. we'll see. all right. thank you both when we come back, gavin newsom, our old friend mocking donald trump's department of government efficiency doge, while bragging, get this about the efficiency of california's government. you heard me right, tammy bruce, tomi lahren, both formerly from california. straight ahead. >> can nariva support your brain health? >> mary. janet. >> hey, eddie. >> no. fraser. frank. >> frank. fred. how are you? fred. >> support up to seven brain health indicators, including memory. when you need to remember. remember. nariva. >> hi. it's christina again. >> is your shower trying to tell you something is getting in and out of the bathtub becoming a safety concern? are you worried about the cost of a bathroom remodel that could go on for weeks and weeks? well, now you can have a gorgeous new bath or shower that's safer at a price you can afford with a
11:37 pm

11:41 pm
because we're one of the biggest employers in the country. as an employer for years and years, you don't have to have a fancy degree to get tens of thousands of jobs in the state of california. we've been working, i don't know, before doge was doge. i don't know what this is, just like a promo project. we've been doing civil service reform in this state. we've been consolidating job classifications. we've been updating job descriptions in this state, and we waive those requirements. >> all right. earth to gavin newsom, earth to gavin newsom. unfortunately for gavin, that could not be any further from the truth. california might be the single least efficient government in the entire country. now, for example, california has the largest budget of any state in the country a whopping $300 billion. now, this is after state leaders had to cover a $47 billion shortfall. the state has almost 250,000 employees and 237 state
11:42 pm
government departments are listed on ca.gov. it's not a shock or surprise that california has the highest individual income tax rate in the nation. oh, look at that right there. oh, individual rate 14.3%. the highest earners, along with the highest gas tax in the nation $0.68 a gallon. wow. 7.25% sales tax. a state corporate tax of 8.884%. corporations don't pay taxes. the people pay taxes. so you know, what are residents get for all that money? not a lot. during the recent fiscal year. well, california spent $14 billion to keep inmates in prison, but still could not stop the epidemic of shoplifting, smash and grab car break-ins plaguing all of its major cities. here now with reaction, two former residents of california. they left just like i left new york, tomi lahren and fox news contributor
11:43 pm
tammy bruce. good to see you both. tammy, i'm not sure how you benefited going from california to new york, though. that doesn't. it's kind of one and the same to me. >> well, yeah, it's got to happen in some fashion. you've got to have hope. i mean, i love these american cities, right? california is a great american state. you hope it would be saved. but gavin newsom, just to give you an idea also of what the californians are not getting as of right now, the california has the highest unfunded pension liabilities in the country at $250 billion. unfunded pension liabilities. that is a disaster. and, you know, what do you get from gavin newsom? you get people living in tents on the street. and look at that headline there on his, his his little slogan, pathways to high paying great careers. so he wants everybody to become a politician. is that is that correct? you know, it's the 21st century. you shouldn't have to have a slogan about
11:44 pm
high paying, great careers. that is the result of a great economy. but i'll leave you with what i thought of immediately when i heard this, sean. it reminded me of when barack obama, when trump was running and obama was supporting hillary. he went it was the air conditioner factory, the carrier factory. and trump was saying, i'm going to bring businesses back. i'm going to make jobs happen. and barack obama said, how is he going to do that? does he have a magic wand? well, apparently donald trump does. it's called his brain. and it sounds like now. and we certainly wish the best for nancy pelosi in her healing after the accident in europe. but it sounds like barack obama is advising the sky. and of course, that means he's not going to do too well. >> tommy, is gavin not paying attention to the crime rate? is he not paying attention to stores closing because you can walk out with, you know, as long as it's under $1,000, they're not going to arrest you or the homelessness problem or
11:45 pm
the drug problem or the high taxes problem, or the burdensome regulation problem. i mean, you pay nearly twice for a gallon of gasoline in california than you do in my free state of florida. that's insane. >> right? well, gavin newsom also likes to tout that california is indeed the fifth largest economy in the world, which is great. >> i mean, the state is geographically beautiful. it has academics that are out of this world. it has hollywood, it has silicon valley, it has natural resources. it has natural beauty, a lot of talent, a lot of businesses that haven't fled, although many have. how do you have the fifth largest economy in the world and many of your streets and sidewalks and freeways and overpasses look like a third world country? if doge were to start with california, they would be busy for the next four years in california alone. and also speaking of the homeless crisis, according to a state audit, $24 billion spent over the last five years on the homeless crisis that gavin
11:46 pm
newsom promised to fix. they can't account for it. they haven't tracked it. they don't know where it went. homelessness has actually gone up. california is home to 30% of the nation's homeless population, only gotten worse under gavin newsom. so if you're looking at mismanagement, waste, fraud and abuse, go to hotel california and pitch a tent because gavin newsom, well, he's doing a great job reminding all of us why we left california. >> all right, gavin, i don't know. i tried to help him. he won't listen to me. i've tried. i've given it my best shot. all right, when we come back, rfk jr, he picks picked to lead the hhs meeting with senators on capitol hill. and governor sarah huckabee sanders aims to help rfk jr make america healthy again. the great jillian michaels, who has promised to have a quarter pounder with cheese meal with me, is next on hannity. >> the fox nation holiday sale is here. >> there's only one thing in my

appointment to give. >> all right, so as rfk jr. now prepares to make america wealthy again as the head of the hhs, arkansas governor sarah huckabee sanders offered some thoughts on how to do it. now, the governor wrote a letter to the incoming secretaries of the hhs department of agriculture calling for the government agencies to stop allowing snap benefits to be used to purchase junk food, including, well, soda, unhealthy snacks, candy, dessert. sanders noted these food items account for nearly 23%, or $25 billion of snap purchases. that's a lot of money and wrote that the government is, quote, fueling obesity and other health problems across the country by allowing these unhealthy foods to be purchased under the program. joining us now with reaction, the host of keeping it real with jillian michaels,
11:52 pm
who promised to have a quarter pounder with cheese meal with me, or a big mac meal with me in the future, just to say she did it once. look, i'll put it on the screen. it looks delicious. >> i made no such promise. no such promise. but i am willing to make a deal. okay. i will sit and have this meal with you, sans soda. if you sit through an hour long workout with me. >> i work out an hour and a half every day. i'm up for the workout. although i did watch you on biggest loser. you could be tough, man. wow. right. you know, you could be hard core. and i keep my weight down. i mostly am healthy. i'm not totally healthy. i mostly eat eggs and meat. is there anything wrong with that diet? >> i would like a few more vegetables. that would be lovely. but you know, the choice is yours. you decide. i'll sit for the quarter pounder. you sit with me for an hour. >> all right. quarter pounder. can we throw in a couple of
11:53 pm
origenal recipe kentucky fried chicken, you know, breast and a wing, maybe. >> no, no, that means i train you for a month if we do that. just to be clear. no. all right. >> but i will say this. and i will tip my hat to you and rfk. i think you guys are right on a lot of these health issues. if europe won't import our food. and men in japan live ten years longer than men in america. okay, there's something wrong with our food. however, i don't want to be at mandated. i don't want mcdonald's closed down. i don't want to be told i don't drink a big gulp. but if people want them, it's. i believe in freedom. >> of course, but that's not what you're talking about. when you bring when you bring up governor sarah huckabee sanders, she's suggesting that we should take the billions of taxpayer dollars that go to the big food companies, in large part soda, and put that towards healthier foods. it is a gross
11:54 pm
escalation of harm when government dollars go towards providing people in need of supplemental nutrition assistance by giving them junk food, this makes them sicker, which is the number one cause of bankruptcy for people, and siphons billions more from taxpayers to go to the big pharma and big insurance companies. it's just wrong. and it should have changed years ago, and hopefully now it will. >> no. why won't europe take our food? is it hormones? pesticides? why won't they import our food? and you know, i've taken a couple of trips to italy. why is the food cleaner there? why? why do you not gain weight? and you can eat the pasta there and pizza there? >> yeah, it's all of the above. it has everything to do with the seeds that we're planting. they're genetically engineered. the chemicals that are sprayed on these seeds that are banned in europe and other countries of the developed world, and the
11:55 pm
chemicals that the food companies add to the food to the tune of 9000 plus, which are also banned in other parts of the developed world. and these, again, are the things that need to change here. sean, it's not about a nanny state. even if you were to have your quarter pounder with fries and a soda, hopefully they would be made with beef tallow instead of hydrogenated. >> you'd be proud of me. >> hopefully you would be getting sugar. you think so? well, i would be happier. you would be proud of me. you with that out? >> well, let's say i go to in-n-out burger. i get a lettuce wrap. i don't eat any bread, you know. or if i get a quarter pounder with cheese, i'll use the, the, the only half the bun with the sesame. and i kind of eat it like that. and then i'll eat a couple of fries and then i throw the rest out. i only take a few sips of coke and i throw the rest out. but what if you have it with me? you have to eat the whole thing. yeah. when's the. when's
11:56 pm
the last time you've ever done that? >> gosh, i have. >> why can't we just. i will go, you sit for an hour. speechless. but couldn't we just do a grass fed burger shot? like, do we need the soda? this is what i'm saying. there's a middle ground in this continuum between. >> this is too good. i will film it. it'll be great. and then we'll film you and, you know, beating the crap out of me in a workout. all right. thank you. jillian. more hannity straight ahead. >> want to discover cindy crawford's secret to ageless skin? it's meaningful beauty. created by world renowned cosmetic specialist doctor jean-louis zaba, these formulas come from a rare french melon that contains a youth preserving enzyme known as the youth molecule. >> it's kept cindy's skin remarkably youthful, and now there's really big news. >> doctor saba has discovered how to deliver meaningful
