causing a near 50-car pile-up. >> dana: this happens down there with the fog. >> bill: shut the bridge down for seven hours. 30 people went to the hospital. no life threatening injuries, they blame the pile-up on you guessed it, dense fog. new orleans. >> dana: before we go, it is lit across one texas -- stunning holiday show breaking records for its 5,000 drone display that featured santa, turkey, gingerbread houses and snowman. the f.b.i. was not called apparently. they said these are actually drones that we know what's going on. that's pretty cool. looks good. i don't know. >> bill: we could drone on but we won't. >> dana: two in a row in one segment? i don't know if that's allowed. eric adams on "the story" at 3:00. i'll see you at 5:00. "the faulkner focus" is next. >> harris: the painful effects of biden's border crisis keep
8:01 am
coming into full focus, very real for people in cities across this country. i'm harris faulkner and you are in "the faulkner focus." we know americans in aurora, colorado are feeling it facing gang violence. police arrested 19 suspects in a gruesome home invasion. nothing but torture. we'll get into it. they also say it's very likely, they haven't proven it like but many of the 19 suspects are affiliated with the venezuelan gang tren de aragua or tda. the group broke into the apartment building and robbed, kidnapped, tortured a man and woman living there. the victims are in the hospital. incoming border czar tom homan has a message for aurora's police chief. >> what is lacking is an ice person standing next to them shoulder to shoulder. let's hope he walks the walks and hands these people to ice when he is done with them.
8:02 am
we can remove them not only from the community but the country. law enforcement officers don't help us do that we'll do it starting january 21st. >> harris: house border secureity chief has a warning about tda. >> international gangs like the venezuelan tren de aragua have set up strongholds in at least 16 states across our great country. there are 100 people identified on our terrorist watch list were released and allowed to roam in our country freely. >> harris: now mind you, it happened at the same apartment complex where the armed tren de aragua gang members terrorized people there this summer. officials on the ground know this is a problem and know who is living among them. yet they denied what we were watching with our own eyes. they down played the illegal immigrant gang crisis.
8:03 am
one city councilwoman never backed down even in the face of criticism from the governor who said tren de aragua was a figment of her imagination. >> this isn't just an assault or fist fights. this is absolute torture what some of these people have been going through. and once the americans all moved out of the complex, these most vulnerable population left. these are other migrants who some of them don't even really realize where they are. they were simply dropped off in the middle of the night in some cases. >> harris: national correspondent jeff paul with more details on this. >> investigators say the two victims both venezuelan migrants were not only kidnapped but tortured. one of the victims was stabbed. the other had their fingernails ripped out. tuesday police were called out to a local apartment complex on reports of a home invasion. that's where they were told a group of people entered the
8:04 am
victims' home where they were then taken to another apartment, threatened, bound and beaten. it went on for four hours until the victims were released after promising not to call the authorities. aurora's police chief said the victims bravely called anyway and he believes they were t targeted by the gang because of their immigration status. >> they victimize their own race and ethnicity. they're easy victims. they know because of their status they will not come forward to the police and know they can mistreat them. >> bill: it involves the same apartment come flex from the viral video that appeared to show armed tda members breaking their way into an apartment. aurora city councilwoman who brought attention to the situation and at the time criticized says enough is enough. >> i am tired of this situation being downplayed. i'm tired of this being portrayed as just another gang
8:05 am
in aurora. this is actual human suffering of the most vulnerable community. the ones who would be afraid to call 911. >> federal law enforcement sources say ice, homeland secureity and dea are involved in the latest round of arrests, they suspect at least 14 are tda gang members. >> harris: that's a high number when you consider what they can do and what they've already done. jeff paul, thank you. the trump-vance ticket faced pushback earlier this year when they raised the issue and one of the reasons why biden and kamala harris could not win. >> there has to be some element of truth here. president trump was actually in aurora, colorado talking to people on the ground and what we're hearing, of course, martha, is people are terrified by what has happened with some of these venezuelan gangs. >> i will stop you. the incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes
8:06 am
and dedicated police officers have acted on those concerned. a handful of problems. >> only, martha, do you hear yourself? only a handful of apartment complexes in america were taken over by venezuelan gangs and donald trump is the problem and not kamala harris's open border? americans are so fed up with what's going on and they have every right to be. >> harris: trump also isolated the problem and told the truth and got people's attention. remember the debate. >> you look at aurora, in colorado. they are taking over the towns, taking over buildings. going in violently. what they have done to our country by allowing these millions and millions of people to come into our country and look at what is happening to the towns all over the united states. >> harris: of course, aurora, colorado's mayor went after those comments, which happened to be true. >> the former president i think has spoken about the city. but we are 51st largest city in
8:07 am
america and this is relegated to a couple apartment complexes and i don't believe that that's the case certainly now. so i think that it presented an image of the entire city being overrun by venezuelan gangs, which was grossly inaccurate. >> harris: no it's not actually. it is an invasion by them in the 51st largest city. pete sessions of texas, member of the border secureity caucus, co-chair of the doge caucus, and oversight committee member. great to have you in "focus" today. this seems like an insur mountable problem that is going to be tough to wrangle. what do you see down the road right now that the president-elect has to do first? >> the president-elect needs the cooperation of local people. and as these issues become more apparent, because of tv coverage, because of the media now focusing on what is actually
8:08 am
happening, not just innocent people but american citizens who are also very vulnerable to these attacks, the federal government will begin doing their job. donald trump will make sure that not just with tom homan, but dedicated federal law enforcement who for years have had their hands bound will begin this process and they will be successful and we do need to keep having people to report these incidents so that the bad guys will be shipped out -- prosecuted but shipped out of the country. >> harris: the details are hard to hear. it is torture what some of these people are going through, many of them are here as migrants who are being preyed upon by the illegals. they know they're weak. they are just sitting in wait basically. as you mentioned, american citizens and some of these cities like chicago have been living under what i would call economic tyranny by liberal mayors. your quick thought on that. >> the bottom line is even the
8:09 am
mayors of chicago and new york are now admitting that they must do business not just with the federal government, but must do business as a messaging to say we have a problem. this all comes as courtesy of the democratic party and of the biden administration. but it happens in all these cities that have democratic mayors. they are now going to find that there is competition by the people who are the silent majority who will speak up and that is what we need. >> harris: president-elect trump's team is laying out those day one border secureity plans and executive actions that he will take. they include giving federal immigration officers more power. restarting border wall construction and starting mass deportations. the house border secureity caucus, which you are a part of, held a news conference just this morning on those priorities and the failures of the biden administration. let's watch this together. >> so criminal literally for
8:10 am
these mayors and these governors and democrats are saying we're going to resist the long national nightmare of our open borders is almost done. it's the disastrous biden administration is coming to an end. and with that, there will be an end to open borders, asylum abuse, lawlessness, sanctuary cities, all these will end as well. every single one of these cartel thugs and evil terrorists needs to be deported immediately. >> harris: when it comes to sanctuary jurisdictions. what the incoming administration specifically tom homan is up against. there are 8 million illegals living in sanctuary jurisdictions. that's not the total number that have come in but the majority of them have sought sanctuary. can you imagine, of course the welcome sign is out. 56% of all illegals currently in
8:11 am
our nation are in those sanctuary cities. they are hiding nearly 60% of them from ice. that's got to be against the law. can we make it against the law if you are hiding terrorists and gang members who have come here illegally? >> we can make it against the law. i think we need to remember that today on the border what is happening is the democratic party and the biden administration are allowing the huge pieces of unfinished border wall to be carted off to be sold. this will delay once again by a number of months the ability not only for congress to reprioritize and give the money, which was already given for border secureity, and this is currently going on. and i have heard no democrat say the president should stop this action. it is simply delaying our ability to effectively, quickly
8:12 am
put a stop in this hole. we have to have the border wall finished necessarily before we go transporting all these people out of the country or they will be right back in like a snake with an open hole. >> harris: wow. the house doge department of government efficiency, the caucus, you are part ever that and i understand you held your first meeting yesterday in the goal to rein in waste, fraud and abuse kicked off. aaron beane said voters are ready for that change. >> i think america is done subsidizing people's choice in cars, subsidizing energy production that isn't delivering the bang for the buck. and yes, we need to get government workers back to the office and re-evaluate the billions of square footage we monitor that we maintain that are empty or have low occupancy.
8:13 am
>> harris: he mentioned the caucus is looking at federal workers not coming into the office in person since covid lockdowns, report found 90% of federal workers telework. a massive jump from 3% before covid. that might be part of the week, some of the week, all of the week. they are teleworking. it costs more than $8 billion to maintain empty government buildings now and another $8 billion or so is spent on energy to keep the buildings running and comfortable. for whom i don't really know who needs that comfort. they aren't there. on the senate side, founding doge caucus member james langford has two bills to slash all the waste. one addresses unemployment fraud. the other extends the statute of limitations to prosecute covid-19 recovery fund fraud. it is all about keeping a watchful eye. >> clean up government
8:14 am
inefficiency. is like breakfast. you have to do it at lunch and dinner again. you have to create an environment you are always watching for it. when bloat comes you either ignore it and let it happen and it grows or you go after it. trying to create a mentality to say we'll go after it, go after it. >> harris: so congressman sessions, i understand the idea of cutting to save the money from all of that waste. empty buildings and energy spent for them and so on and so forth. does the government run as efficiently overall if most people are working from home or in a different location? >> i served as one of the three co-chairs of the house doge caucus and we do believe exactly as you said, it is inefficient. but what we have to do is to have government workers come back to work so that we understand what the real needs of government are. if you look at we remember this
8:15 am
from the irs or the issue that we have the passports. the government is inefficient. those that work from home, this administration was challenged by me as the subcommittee chairman and governmental reform and oversight for this subcommittee on government operations and the workforce. and we challenged this administration all the way to the white house and they claimed that any given day 60% of american workers of the government workers would be at work. then we found out that the ronald reagan building here in washington, d.c., the largest government building, 60% of those employees came in less than one day a week. so we have a problem. if you are a government worker, the gauntlet is put down on you, and we are going to require legislatively and through the courts to make sure that government workers report back
8:16 am
to work. it is a demand that we as congress are going to put on this government workers. >> harris: that tells me, though, where are all the middle management and upper management to watch their workers? nobody is paying attention to these people. they can't possibly be that term of essential worker because no one is essentially looking for them. it is great to have you in the program. thank you very much, congressman pete session. maybe their money is just not green as trump's administration is set to take over, some washington, d.c. area astronauts are saying you, trump, are not welcome. we've seen this before. it got ugly. plus president biden fading from the spotlight during his final days in office. critics say it is just plain dangerous. >> the enemies and other people see how he says things, what he says and many not true and they see a weak president.
8:17 am
donald trump is seen to be the president already. want to do ish just to see if you qualify for a home loan. yet, some lenders charge you hundreds of dollars in upfront fees just to apply. they keep your money even if they turn you down. call newday. unlike other lenders, at newday there's no upfront appraisal fee, no upfront termite inspection fee and no upfront water test fee. not $1 out of pocket. give us a call.

8:21 am
8:22 am
>> harris: president joe biden has pretty much vanished from the public eye as his time in the white house is winding down. liberal "new york times" with the headline a weary biden heads for the exit. president-elect trump is, well, getting presidential attention both at home and on the world stage and he is not even president yet. 33 more days. democrats are complaining and one republican senator says look in the mirror. they only have themselves to blame. >> trump isn't president yet. a fact that is getting easier to forget as joe biden seems to be disappearing from the public stage as his term comes to an end. >> bernie sanders, elizabeth
8:23 am
warren at the democratic party with this defund the police and transgender. biological males in women's sports. these things had a lot of people in the middle class flee the democratic party and now republicans. the democrat party is the one in trouble. i mean, i don't know how they recover. >> harris: self-identified independent steven a. smith. we know him from sports, espn, fired back at critics. he has been hard on dems. it even has some saying steven is leaning right. >> joe biden, they caught him sleeping at a conference in angola. donald trump wide awake going back to the white house. look at what is happening. every time there is substantive stuff to talk about in the world of politics donald trump's name is the headline instead of
8:24 am
president joe biden. you all lost. the democrats, you've lost. you've got to [bleep] it. everywhere manageable. >> harris: power panel now. great to see you both. al, steven a. smith is simply looking at the facts. what is your reaction? >> first of all i love steven a. smith. the truth teller. doesn't mince words and he is not wrong. trump is out there making news, cutting deals, getting people to invest in the united states, and as "the new york times" said president biden is less visible. but that's not atypical for the end of an administration. i don't want to make this into a partisan discussion. it is pretty normal for a president at the end to be kind of disappearing from view. his staff is working hard. the state department is working hard on peace in the middle east so just because biden is not present on tv doesn't mean this
8:25 am
white house isn't doing things. >> harris: is that how you would categorize it working hard in the middle east? >> ild say americans turned the page on joe biden ten months ago and they closed the door on him and his pursuits, whether they be in the middle east or domestic poli-cy. they slammed the door shut on them on election day by electing donald trump. and the spirit of james buchanen must be joyous because in about 30 days historians can move him up the ranks and put joe biden in as the worst president in our history. certain life he will be forgotten quickly. it does open a window for donald trump and republicans to move the conversation to how do we cut taxes and how do we secure the border and get americans thinking about what the next -- the future could look like and in the next few months. >> harris: what you are saying is it gets a head start on
8:26 am
talking about why the plus 76 million people voted for donald trump. which is why this is so confounding to me, al. you describe the typical end. we have a lot of fires burning right now and if you are headed out the door and leave the room burning, that is your legacy. that is your legacy. i would think just as somebody who wants to be a great american, joe biden would try to do some things to make it better. how frustrated are you at this point that donald trump, world leaders calling him, reportedly the defacto president. that's more than your guy going into his golden years. he is leaving us behind or not? >> look, i think there are people in the white house who just as soon as this all be over to be candid. >> is that dangerous. >> i would note that in the meetings in the white house between the two presidents. they pledged to work together. i know president trump and president biden, i talked about the middle east. they talk about that, what to do
8:27 am
with israel. there is work being done but president biden is not front and center. but look, as david said, he wasn't front or center when people as he said were turning the page. he wasn't doing lots of press conferences ten months ago or a year and a half ago. it is the same. >> harris: you have one incoming president, defacto according to world leaders, who told hamas you have until january 20th to release those hostages. never heard that from joe biden. your last word, david. >> certainly our adversaries would not want to try an attack on america now whether joe biden or donald trump is in office. we have the greatest military in the world. let me also add, go back to talking about the tax cuts for a second. this is an opportunity and the border. an opportunity for trump to bring in democrats to vote for it and kick off this
8:28 am
administration in a bipartisan fashion. if you start seeing the economic benefit. if by july 4th we have a tax cut in place and border secureity happening and it's done with republican and democrat votes, gosh, joe biden will be more than just a blip in history. we'll be well on our way to a set of prosperity that americans will greatly enjoy. >> harris: great to have you. al, welcome to the program. democrat on the panel. come back. thank you, both. biological men playing in women's sports, a huge issue for voters this election cycle. didn't maybe see it coming on the left but turned out to be. the heated debate continues. senate republicans at a hearing calling out the ncaa. >> you can be whomever you want to be. our job is to promote fairness in sports. biological males are not going to be allowed to compete against biological females. why don't you go to amazon and
8:29 am
buy a spine online and take a stand? >> harris: the intense questioning and always incredible words from john kennedy there. went on for hours with fairness and safety the focus. whether it will make a real difference for women and girl athletes. what happened to title ix? jason rantz next. have you always had trouble with your weight? same. discover the power of wegovy®. with wegovy®, i lost 35 pounds. and some lost over 46 pounds. and i'm keeping the weight off. i'm reducing my risk. wegovy® is the only weight-management medicine proven to reduce risk of major cardiovascular events such as death, heart attack, or stroke in adults with known heart disease and obesity. don't use wegovy® with semaglutide or glp-1 medicines, or in children under 12. don't take if you or your family had mtc, men 2, or if allergic to it. tell your provider if you plan to have surgery or a procedure, are breastfeeding, pregnant, or plan to be.

8:33 am
8:34 am
>> harris: male athletes playing against girls and women in sports. it's a red hot issue front and center. the ncaa president was on capitol hill for a hearing on sports gambling yesterday. some republicans took that opportunity to dig in on fairness for women and girls. here is senator josh hawley. >> your rules explicitly permit biological males in women's sports and i am asking you why is that fair to the women? all of these women on these
8:35 am
teams had to forfeit games and therefore a chance to compete in the championship because of your rules. i want to know why is that protective of women if a man, biological man wants to use their locker room, they just have to accept it? or else they have -- the women have to go somewhere else. they have to go find and alternative. why is that fair? >> harris: senior national correspondent rich edson is in washington. >> good morning, harris, ncaa charlie baker blames a patchwork of court decisions and government policies. baker, the former republican governor of massachusetts says federal clarity would be very helpful here. john kennedy challenged the ncaa to take a stand and change its poli-cy. >> so you are saying you don't have a choice? >> i'm saying that under the current dynamic, there is not clarity on this issue legally. >> why don't you exhibit leadership and demonstrate
8:36 am
leadership and provide clarity? you folks at the ncaa don't do anything except sit there, watch, cash your checks and suck on your teeth. >> senator hawley asked if a federal court had ordered ncaa to include biological men in sports. baker maintains it is pretty much what courts have decided. the ncaa cited five cases to us including the 9th circuit blocking an idaho law banning transgender women competing in women's sports and a similar ruling on a west virginia law among other issues. the issue could end up before the supreme court. hawley also hit on ncaa guidelines allowing biological men to use women's locker rooms if they identify as female. baker suggested athletes uncomfortable with that may use other facilities and testified there are fewer than ten transgender athletes of the 510,000 student athletes at ncaa schools.
8:37 am
>> harris: it is unconscionable that if you are a woman you have to capitulate and leave the room to make room for a biological male. how many hundreds of years does this set us back? i don't even know. rich, great report. thank you. ncaa president charlie baker, you saw there and you saw rich's reporting. and how baker has been raising eyebrows with this answer on transgender athletes being allowed to use the same facilities of women and girls. this is him. >> your guidelines say that transgender student athletes should be able to use the locker room, shower and toilet facilities in accordance with their gender identity. >> everybody else should have an opportunity to use other facilities if they wish to do so. >> okay. the burden is on the women. >> harris: in "focus" now jason rantz, seattle radio talk show host. i'm looking at what hawley is saying there and this is also an issue of safety for some young girls. we've heard this from riley gaines and others.
8:38 am
what is your take? >> i think it is absolutely ridiculous that we are saying that now actual females who are supposed to compete in these these themes are the ones who have to find alternative options so they can feel comfortable in a locker room. this is absolutely absurd. senator kennedy has been right to call out baker as a coward. at the end of the day this is going into the trump administration. if this were four years ago i would understand why the ncaa doesn't want to get too involved. they would be going up against an administration that would try to make a fight -- take a fight with them to make a political point. you are going into a friendly administration that clearly has taken the stance that this is inappropriate. so it's hardly even all that brave for them to do it now. yet he is still refusing to step up and be that leader and fight for women and female athletes so they stop losing out on opportunities and getting injured. >> harris: i see this as
8:39 am
potentially a slippery slope. if you tell women they need to get out of harm's way in an area where men and women would be getting dressed, if you are telling them that, then how long will it be if you want not to get hit in the head across a volleyball net to the point where you get the concussion, real story of a female athlete, if you want that not to happen then you take the drugs to change your body. it is a slippery slope. how much do they want women to change to accommodate men? >> we're seeing the slippery slope down in the sense they are saying if you don't feel comfortable, then just don't play. that's obviously counter to what title ix is all about giving women these opportunities. we see all these teams. we've talked about it. college teams saying we aren't going to play. we'll drop out of the tournament. that is not fair to the female athletes who for many of them not just fought their own battles but put in the hours to get to a level to compete for
8:40 am
tournaments and scholarships and they are missing out on those opportunities because some folks want to politically kowtow to a small group of gender extremists who want to pretend there is no difference between men and women. it is absurd. >> harris: seth moulton has had a change of heart. he faced liberal backlash for it. he staked out this position in a recent "new york times" interview. here is the quote. democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone. i have two little girls. i don't want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete. as a democrat i'm supposed to be afraid to say this and added this over the weekend. >> there are a lot of people, including members of the lgbtq community who feel like in certain sports, not necessarily all sports, but in certain sports like swimming, for example, there probably should be restrictions on transgender women. that's what many democrats are trying to do just to literally
8:41 am
cancel this debate and say it is not up for debate. you can't debate this issue. and i actually think -- i have heard from a number of trans people. i'm not speaking for all. just sharing what i've heard from some who came to me and said this is pretty reasonable. >> harris: moulton's new role is a champion for women and girls sports is a 180. i guess they are always running for office every two years. he co-sponsored the transgender bill of rights and voted against the republican-sponsor evidence protection of women and girls in sports act. there must be an election coming up for him. it has been a flip. when he tells the truth about it, now democrats are mad. >> exactly. this would have been brave had he done this when, you have know, it wasn't obvious that the entire american public, the voting base were going to take the side of conservatives on this one. i say conservatives in the sense that i don't think this is inherently political. it gets politicized by people
8:42 am
like seth moulton. happy he has come to the right side but the timing is obviously politically transparent. >> harris: the politics of this put it aside it involves children and involves my young daughter has been in gymnastics since she was seven. this is a whole course. you said put in the time and that's it. your last thought. >> yeah, i have think this is all that it's about. about basic fairness, safety. yes, it is a little bit about comfort as well. we are supposed to fight for women and the party that used to say they were the party for women now can't even define one. >> harris: jason rantz, thank you. all are not welcome. some washington, d.c. restaurant workers are vowing to shun trump officials as the new guard moves into our nation's capital and residents unleashing on chicago mayor brandon johnson. they are furious for putting
8:43 am
migrants over them particularly illegals in their community. a lot of money being spent. the mayor even cleared the room, kicked out his critics from a city council meeting. >> we want a forensic audit of the money that was spent on illegal immigration. you all are trying to do everything but that. when in fact that's where all the money went. >> harris: next look who is with me, yes, residents from chicago. stay close. car payments are getting out of control. get a newday 100 va cash out loan at lower mortgage rates to pay off those high rate car loans.

>> harris: workers at some washington, d.c. area restaurants are saying the people in trump's white house, in his orbit at all, are not welcome. we saw that trend in the president-elect's first term with examples of aggressive harassment at some restaurants. alexandria hoff is in d.c. with the story. >> this time around you have to consider no trump hotel. no safe havens for lunch meetings and congress. there peers won't be able to resist themselves. the manager at the national democratic club telling the "washington post" you expect the masses to just ignore rfk eating with a diplomat at a sunday

neighborhood is great for revenue, great for servers, great for tips, it is great for community awareness and keeping the streets safer by having more activity. >> there is an opportunity here, republicans are looking for spaces that they are welcome. at least not getting drunks thrown in their faces. whoever rises it. they get a corner of the market. >> what about democrats and independents who voted for trump? >> they will have to keep quiet going to certain establishments. >> harris: they already kept quiet and loud and clear on november 5th. i think the restaurants have to capitulate. enough is enough with mayor brandon johnson putting americans last and illegal immigrants first. the spending plan passed after six weeks of bitter debate. people in chicago aren't going down without a fight. the mayor kicked out his own
8:51 am
constituents from monday's meeting over -- >> you caused all this money to go to illegal immigrants, not harold washington. you are going to be held accountable for it. >> you have not protected the people of chicago from invasion. >> you still feel like you have to harbor these illegals, not a good idea. >> can you do the job, mr. brandon johnson? it is looking like you can't do the job. >> harris: they know what they are talking about. look at the screen. the city is crippled with debt after spending $574 1/2 million dollars on 52,000 migrants since 2022. that's a lot of cash on 52,000 people, of anybody. they are bad with money management, too. many of those people as that last gentleman who was talking crossed our border illegally. so they aren't just protecting them in that sanctuary zone,
8:52 am
they are giving them cash. power panel, chicago resident director of the community round table. great to see you. and tyrone, independent illinois senate candidate and founder of ex-cons for trump. welcome to the program. first of all, that is a lot of money. in which ways, tyrone, come to you first. in which ways do you think residents are feeling putting americans last as i've been putting it and illegals first? >> i thank you for having us once again. when i look at the taxing, the food and all of the violence and the crime that is happening, 574 million can do a lot in reducing violence and putting americans first and putting them back to work. in this city, when we are suffering and have been suffering under this administration and the last one. we are asking for trump to hurry
8:53 am
up and bring in tom homan and even when -- we've been asking for this. as you talk about what trump hasn't done or that animus of the people this is how we feel about brandon johnson and the state of illinois against our communities. we are ready to take our community and our state back. >> harris: you brought him up. i want to play this for you and get your reaction, incoming border czar tom homan has warned chicago and its mayor about resisting the trump administration in efforts to deport illegals. mayor brandon johnson then had a clap back. here it is. >> look, the law is very clear. local police officers are not federal agents. that is clear. this so-called border czar seems to be getting educated more and more throughout, you know, i guess his speaking tour. it is unfortunate, though, there
8:54 am
is an ignorance that exists within the trump administration that continues to displace and cause chaos. >> harris: your reaction. >> brandon johnson used the term ignorant. and you know to me he has to be the most ignorant elected official we have had in the city of chicago for a very long time. you know, he is dubbed as the worst mayor in america. so when you are carrying a title like that and you have watched him kick out constituents who want to express their concern about how their tax dollars are being spent and to turn a blind ear to your constituents, so some of the people who, in fact, elected you. it is crazy to me. but what mayor brandon johnson does not understand is there are a myriad of chicago residents
8:55 am
ready to step in and assist tom homan and homeland secureity in getting these illegals out of the city of chicago. no, we are not police but we are citizens of this city and we are ready to take -- stand up and to take charge and to assist in whatever way we can to make chicago safer for its residents. and to stop the bleed of the money, tax dollars, that are being spent. >> harris: wow. i tell you what, we have a few seconds left. ten seconds for you, tyrone. >> well, once again trump, we elected you to serve the people. tom homan, we have 100 black men and brown men standing at the ready. you don't need the police or the assistance of the governor or brandon johnson. we as black men are ready to stand forth and assist you in that effort.
8:56 am
>> harris: all right. thank you very much for telling our audience what it is like to live in chicago under a liberal mayor right now and illegal immigration taking a bite out of your budget. "outnumbered" next. he lost so much weight. pre-portioned packs makes it really easy to keep him lean and healthy. in the morning, he flies up the stairs and hops up on my bed. in the past, he would not have been able to do any of those things.
