i mean, it's new york city. it's buddy the elf, it's christmastime. one of the greatest movies ever. when in rome, you know, you just got to do it. >> todd: i love it. what was the reaction of the people on the streets of new york city? >> well, i'm going to be honest i was just a tad bit nervous because everybody is so busy in new york have to get where they are going and the first little hop i did people just started cheering and going crazy so, after that it was game on. >> todd: that is awesome. >> this was awesome to watch. >> todd: melissa, when did ryan's affinity for elf culture begin? this man loves christmas. radio station coordinated to christmas all over our house. he has always loved elf and going to new york city and wanting to seat big tree. this year we made it happen. i feel like he might really be buddy, i don't know.

>> todd: there you go. >> that's -- i don't know. >> todd: let's get to the serious questions. ryan, did you move into anybody who saw the movie elf and you were a run-of-the-mill crazy person in new york city. >> if i did, nobody voiced that everybody seemed to have seen it. i got inviolated to a wedding in england. people wanted to take pictures of me. i thought they were one of those people standing around in times square taking pictures for money. >> todd: did you get any tips? >> no. no tips, unfortunately. >> todd: it wasn't all inch dual it for free. >> wasn't all welcoming here in new york city. and fox was the place where you got the cold shoulder. we will show some video right now very concerning. you tried to wave into our "studio m," look what they did. they shut the blinds on you because i'm assuming they didn't know what you were doing and they assumed you were one of those run ever the mill crazy people in new york city. but that said, it is awesome.
