East Coast Storm; Heavy Rain and Flooding in the Southwest U.S.; Typhoon Remnants Impacting Alaska

A coastal storm continues to bring heavy rain, coastal flooding, high surf, dangerous rip currents, and gusty winds to the East Coast into early Tuesday. A heavy rain and flash flood risk continues for the Southwest/Four Corners region with lingering tropical moisture through Monday. A Wind Advisory is in effect for Central Nevada until 11 PM PDT this evening. Blowing dust will reduce visibilities at times. Travel will be difficult, particularly for high profile vehicles.
The next storm system will impact Northern and Central Nevada Tuesday through Wednesday night, resulting in periods of precipitation. Snow levels will start at around 7,000 feet Tuesday, before dropping to about 6,000 feet Tuesday night. The majority of this precipitation will fall Tuesday night.
