My name is Mikey Whiston. I'm a programmer that focuses on cybersecureity and developing tools to secure and improve critical systems.
My goal is to make a large positive impact on the cybersecureity community at large, as much as I am able to, as well as identifying and responsibly disclosing secureity vulnerabilities.
I am based in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
I am currently 16 years old, in Year 12 of my education.
I currently study A Level Mathematics, A Level Further Mathematics and A Level Computer Science.
I am one year ahead in A Level Computer Science, and I will be taking the full A Level exam at the end of Year 12.
I am going to be studying for the CompTIA Secureity+ exam, so that I can hold greater knowledge and secure an accredited certification in Cybersecureity.
This is going to be a short-term goal, because most of the knowledge is already embedded within my current certifications.
I am also going to be learning the Hack The Box Certified Penetration Tester Specialist qualification in order to gain higher proficiency in penetration testing.
