The Bones & The Bees Artisan Market

The Bones & Bees Artisan Market returns to the Ypsilanti Freighthouse. This unique market will showcase a variety of handmade arts, jewelry, pottery and other crafts inspired by bees. Enjoy delicious honey-based treats as well!

Cass Corridor, Detroit
The annual street festival that has been a part of the Cass Corridor’s history for decades returns for another year of dallying in alleys. The event is always free and goes all day. Head on down to the Cass Corridor, bring some walking shoes and get ready to drink, eat, listen to fantastic music and look at some fabulous art. This year will feature the guided yoga and even a dog show!
6 Mile Street Festival

West McNichols Corridor
It’s a festival within a festival! As part of the Detroit Month of Design the Live6 Alliance will host the First Annual 6 Mile Street Festival to celebrate culture, creativity and community within the West McNichols Corridor. The festival will feature more than 20 activations along W. McNichols from live performances, local art, food, family activities, and small business showcases.
Old Car Festival
September 6th - September 7th
Greenfield Village
This weekend, Greenfield Village will host the Old Car Festival, featuring hundreds of antique vehicles from across the country. Attendees can enjoy a variety of cars from the 1890s to 1932, engage with the owners, hear their unique sounds, and watch a parade of these vintage automobiles. Additionally, the two-day festival will offer historically inspired street food, music, dancing, and various other activities.

Throughout the entire month of September, across all corners of Detroit there will be over 100 events featuring over 200 artists with immersive design experiences including exhibitions, installations, studio visits, product launches, artist talks, tours, workshops and exciting parties.
