A fall tradition returns this weekend, bringing illuminated decorations, trick-or-treating, costumes, performers, and more to the Detroit Zoo. It’s all a part of “Zoo Boo”.
During “Live In The D,” reporter April Morton gave us a preview of the event. She was joined by Emily O’Hara, the Senior Director of Guest Experience at the Detroit Zoo.
“Zoo Boo, presented by Corwell Health Children’s this year at the Detroit Zoo, is a time when you can come out with your family, put on your favorite costume, and walk around the zoo, pick up some treats along the way, enjoy live entertainment, and just have a great night out enjoying the zoo,” said O’Hara.
“Zoo Boo” runs throughout October and you can expect a full lineup of family-friendly entertainment, character meet-and-greets, and seasonal fun. Bring your reusable bag and get ready for a night of trick-or-treating at the zoo.
As the sun sets, the zoo lights up with glowing decor and lights. The nonstop fall festivities are all included in your ticket.
