Michigan Humane is constantly helping people find their furry friends, but some pets are harder to adopt out than others.
Lidia Vesterfelt from Michigan Humane joined this segment of “Live in the D” to break some of the common myth’s when it comes to the “underdogs”.
She was joined by a 7-year-old dog named Louie, who is looking for his forever home.
Lidia shares that being7-years-old clarifies pets as a “senior pet”, and there is a common misconception that senior pets don’t have a lot of time left or they have medical issues. While this can be the case sometimes, it does not mean the pet won’t be full of energy and love.
Lidia describes Louie as a dog “who still pulls like a puppy” and still has a lot of life and potential in him.
