DETROIT – Here we go again... sunny with highs near 80 degrees on this final day of September. However, it hasn’t really felt like September all month.
After a cooler than average first week, the rest of the month has had mostly above average days. We are waking up to temperatures on either side of 50. Sunshine will return today in full force. Temperatures will rise to wither side of 80.
There is not a notable chance for rain in the foreseeable future. We will drop to more seasonal low 70s midweek as we begin October. The lakeshore areas will again be slightly cooler in the 60s for Wednesday, but return to around 70 for Thursday. Only other note for Wednesday and Thursday will be an increase in high clouds.
The cooldown is brief. We rise back into the low 80s this weekend with great weather for outdoor activities. Our next best chance for rain at this point doesn’t appear to arrive until next Tuesday.
