Summer-Only Students

Just because the temperatures are warmer outside doesn't mean your textbook needs to be closed for the season. We offer five-, eight- and ten-week sessions that can help you get ahead and lighten your schedule during the year.

Start the Admissions Process

If you are new to College of DuPage, submit the general admissions application. If you have applied to or previously attended COD, contact your admission representative.

For summer course availability, search the current schedule of classes. View step-by-step instructions on how to search and register.

Speak with your college or university advisor to review transfer guidelines and identify which courses align with your academic plan. If you’d like to see how your courses might transfer or check for COD course equivalencies, visit Transferology. This nationwide, web-based tool provides fast and accurate transfer information.

If you completed a prerequisite course at another college or university, you can submit an unofficial transcript to meet the requirement for your summer course(s). Students who are not seeking a degree or certificate may use unofficial transcripts to fulfill prerequisite requirements.

Qualifying ACT or SAT scores can be used to meet reading, writing and math prerequisite requirements.

If your course requires a placement test before registration, visit one of the COD Testing Center locations as soon as possible to take the exams. If you are unable to test in person, you can test remotely via the Virtual Testing Center.
