A coastal storm continues to bring heavy rain, coastal flooding, high surf, dangerous rip currents, and gusty winds to the East Coast into early Tuesday. A heavy rain and flash flood risk continues for the Southwest/Four Corners region with lingering tropical moisture through Monday. After a cooler start to the week behind a cold frontal passage, temperatures will rise back up into the upper 70s to mid 80s the rest of the week. Off and on chances for rain showers are possible on Monday and Tuesday along with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Even though it does look to warm up this week, there is a very high chance (95%) that highs do not reach the 90°F mark this week!
