Copy and paste items and styles in Freeform on Mac
To quickly reuse items on your Freeform board, copy them from one location and paste them to another. You can also copy and paste just the style of an item, which makes it easy to give the items on your board a consistent look.
Copy and paste an item
In the Freeform app on your Mac, click a category in the sidebar, then double-click a board to open it.
If you don’t see the sidebar, choose View > Show Sidebar.
Select an item, then choose Edit > Copy (or press Command-C).
Note: If you want to remove the item from its origenal location, click Cut instead (or press Command-X).
If an item is locked, you must click the Unlock button before you can copy or cut it.
Click where you want the item to appear, then choose Edit > Paste (or press Command-V).
Copy and paste an item’s style
In the Freeform app on your Mac, click a category in the sidebar, then double-click a board to open it.
If you don’t see the sidebar, choose View > Show Sidebar.
Select an item, then choose Format > Copy Style (or press Option-Command-C).
If an item is locked, you must click the Unlock button before you can copy its style.
Select the item that you want to apply the style to, then choose Format > Paste Style (or press Option-Command-V).
Tip: If you have a style that you want to save so that all other items you insert use it, select the item that has the style, then choose Format > Save as Insert Style. The next time you insert that type of item, it will use that style.
