UCAR and NSF NCAR take the accessibility of our internal and external websites seriously and have implemented the following measures to improve accessibility of our internal and external websites:

  • Maintain a cross-functional Web Executive Board, Web Technical Governance Advisory Group, and Web Design Governance Advisory Group composed of staff and leaders across the organization to help drive accessibility efforts and awareness.
  • Include accessibility as part of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Plan.
  • Provide space on our intranet platform for staff to discuss and share resources related to web accessibility.
  • Include questions related to accessibility in workplace culture surveys and other surveys to guide future action.
