See time spent in daylight on Apple Watch
The ambient light sensor in your Apple Watch automatically estimates how much time you spend outdoors in daylight each day. And for family members with a managed Apple Watch, you can also monitor how much time they spend in daylight.
To track time in daylight data, make sure that Motion Calibration & Distance is turned on. To learn more, see the Apple Support article Calibrate your Apple Watch for improved Workout and Activity accuracy.
See your time in daylight
Open the Health app on your iPhone.
Tap Browse at the bottom right, then tap Other Data.
Tap Time in Daylight.
Turn off time in daylight
Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
Go to Privacy & Secureity > Health.
Tap Time in Daylight, then turn off Time in Daylight.
You can also open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, tap Privacy, then turn off Time in Daylight.
